Eduardo Kobra’s early works were only painted in Brazil, and in 2011 Kobra created his first mural outside his country as France invited him to paint a wall about immigration in a neighbourhood of Lyon. The rest of his career took him to paint in different countries around the world like the USA, Mexico, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Sweden, Poland, Netherlands, Russia, Japan and India.
In 2016 Eduardo Kobra made the headlines for creating his illustrious mural ‘Las Etnias’ (The Ethnicities) that lined Olympic Boulevard at the 2016 Rio Olympics. Stretching over 32,000 square feet, ‘Las Etnias‘ earned Kobra and his team the record for the Largest spray paint mural by a team. A year later, Kobra and his group beat their previous title with their gigantic work at Cacua Show Headquarters, a chocolate company located in Sao Paulo, Brazil – a masterpiece which took 700 hours to complete and more than doubled their 2016 record.
