“FORCED PERSPECTIVE” BY LEON KEER: AMSTERDAM
June 5 - August 28
At the Wanrooij Gallery in Amsterdam, the ‘Forced Perspective’ exhibition celebrates the mind-bending work of muralist Leon Keer.
Keer has been described as an optical illusionist, as his anamorphic works trick the eyes into perceiving depth and scale that do not exist. This new display of his work features brand-new sculptures, paintings, and augmented reality experiences alongside some of Keer’s most notable past works. Keer’s street artworks have cropped up on walls and in galleries across the globe, from Mexico to Saudi Arabia; but, for the first time, Keer adds a 4th dimension to his interpretation of pop surrealism with augmented reality, making this exhibition a must for fans of his work.
