MONTREAL MURAL FESTIVAL: MONTREAL, QUEBEC

Montreal is a city rich in art and culture. Every year, for a week in August, the long Boulevard Saint-Laurent becomes an open-air gallery for local and international artists to showcase their skill and creativity, with the goal of democratising urban art and giving it a welcomed place within society.

Alongside the many murals and live-painting sessions, there are workshops, films, and other shows on offer. The once cosmopolitan streets are turned into a hive of activity, culture, and discovery for locals and visiting tourists alike.
