WATERFORD WALLS: WATERFORD, IRELAND

2021 marks the 7th year of Waterford Walls, Ireland’s biggest street art festival. Artists from across the country arrive to paint the streets of Waterford, turning the town into an open-air gallery.

The mission of the festival is to bring the community together, to connect residents and businesses, and to inspire creativity in everyone. For the organisers, street art is a life-enriching form of expression that can help to improve the lives of those living around it.

This year, the theme addresses the gender imbalance within the world of street art, and features a range of mentoring and training programmes that aim to nurture emerging talent.

The festival will end with a large scale artwork in August.
