THE ART OF BANKSY: LONDON

The Art of Banksy in London is an unauthorised exhibition of Banksy's early work. All pieces are on loan from private collections, making it one of the most comprehensive displays of Banksy's work ever seen and the largest collection of privately-owned Banksy works in the world. The original canvases, sculptures, screenprints, and limited edition prints exhibited were almost exclusively created between the years of 1997 and 2008, which were Banksy's active early years as a street artist. Iconic works such as 'Girl With Balloon' and 'Rude Copper' are on display, alongside lesser-known works. The event has toured the globe, drawing

“BANKSY LAUGH NOW” AT MOCO: AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS

This ongoing exhibition at the MOCO Museum in Amsterdam features some of Banksy's best-loved works, including the eponymous Laugh Now. This vibrant and varied collection of prints, original paintings, and sculptures span the entirety of Banksy's career. Unmissable pieces include Girl With Balloon, Love is in the Air (Flower Thrower), and Beanfield, which is the exhibition's centrepiece. Beanfield has not been on display since 2009, but is recognised as an important example of Banksy's social activism, his anti-military sentiments, and his bold and often jarring combination of subjects and colours. Though the exhibition has not been authorised by Banksy, each

“FORCED PERSPECTIVE” BY LEON KEER: AMSTERDAM

At the Wanrooij Gallery in Amsterdam, the 'Forced Perspective' exhibition celebrates the mind-bending work of muralist Leon Keer. Keer has been described as an optical illusionist, as his anamorphic works trick the eyes into perceiving depth and scale that do not exist. This new display of his work features brand-new sculptures, paintings, and augmented reality experiences alongside some of Keer's most notable past works. Keer's street artworks have cropped up on walls and in galleries across the globe, from Mexico to Saudi Arabia; but, for the first time, Keer adds a 4th dimension to his interpretation of pop surrealism with

SUPER WALLS 2021: PADOVA, ITALY

After the success of Super Walls 2018, the festival returns in 2021 to showcase more original Italian and international artists. For two weeks, 40 artists are commissioned to transform 35 large urban walls in the eight municipalities of Abano Terme, Padua, Albignasego, Limena, Mestrino, Tombelle di Saonara, Sarmeola di Rubano, and Veggiano. The walls themselves are donated by businesses to help revitalise the colour and life of the area. For large-scale artwork by both renowned and up-coming artists, Super Walls is an important date in the European street art calendar.

FESTIVAL INSPIRE: NEW BRUNSWICK, CANADA

Festival Inspire was first founded in 2014, and, in that year, transformed the walls of Downtown Moncton. Creative murals adorned derelict walls that had been vandalised, beautifying those areas that were the unappreciated canvases of high-traffic areas in the city. The mission is to reactivate those spaces and encourage collaboration between businesses and artists. This year, the festival reaches further. As well as the week-long frenzy of live art, murals, interactive installations, circus, street performance, and art in Downtown Moncton, the festival is travelling to Campbellton, Shippagan Tracadie, Miramichi, Saint John, Petit-Rocher, and Shediac throughout June and July.

“VANGUARD: THE EVOLUTION OF A GLOBAL MOVEMENT”: BRISTOL, UK

The Vanguard exhibition at Bristol's M Shed brings famous artists, such as Inkie, together with big voices in the street art world, such as Doug Gillen, to explore the influence of the city of Bristol on the global street art scene. As the hometown of Banksy, Bristol has a lot to answer for. "Vanguard" celebrates everything that has contributed to making Bristol a global centre for street art and culture. The exhibition looks back at the last 30 years in Bristol and beyond, from graffiti's anarchist origins to its present-day peace protests, bringing together an extensive collection of rare memorabilia

MURO LX_21 is the 4th festival of its kind and features new attractions, including workshops, concerts, and walking tours around the finished murals. “ANDY WARHOL: REVELATION” AT BROOKLYN MUSEUM: NEW YORK

Andy Warhol is one of the 20th century's most prolific artists, whose work shaped the Pop Art movement as we know it today. Warhol is known for his insightful, often witty, riffs on the nuances of modern society, consumerism, and celebrity, but it is rare for an exhibition to focus so keenly on Warhol's personal life and personal beliefs. 'Andy Warhol: Revelation' explores the artist's relationship with faith, from his Byzantine Catholic upbringing to the religious imagery that appears in a selection of his works. The collection of works exhibited at 'Revelation' include Catholic iconography re-appropriated into modern consumerism, Renaissance
